Participants must already be knowledgeable about substance use disorders and mental health disorders. Course focuses on county, state and federal regulations; clinical relations; professional addiction counseling evidence based practices; co-occurring disorder clinical syndromes and differential diagnosis; supervisor/counselor/client evaluation outcomes.
