TEAM 180 Volleyball - Applications in Team Tactics

This course is designed to enhance team tactics utilizing theoretical concepts pertinent to competing in intercollegiate volleyball. Students will compete in numerous competitive drills, creating challenging team driven, game-like scenarios to prepare for the competitive season. Demonstration of appropriate skill level is required and evaluated by instructor. May be taken four times for a maximum of 4 units.

The Kinesiology/Athletics/Dance Division offers a wide variety of physical activities that students can participate in according to individual interests and needs, activities that have carry-over value for the students¿ leisure time, now and in the future. Instruction is provided in progressive levels of competency, offering opportunities for specialization. A recommended preparation for all physical education courses is a recent physical examination.

Courses will normally be offered for the number of units specified in this catalog. However, units allowed for a given Physical Education class may be adjusted to conform with an increase or a decrease in the number of hours for which the class will be offered. Units are earned on the basis of 1 unit per three class hours per semester.
