Course Information
Designed to help students understand the fundamentals and strategies of the defensive techniques associated with competing in intercollegiate basketball. Students will gain knowledge and understanding about the various defensive philosophies, techniques and strategies related to the development of individual and team play in women's basketball.
Lecture hours/semester: 16-18

Homework hours/semester: 32-36
Recommended: Eligibility for VARS 300 Should have experience in either interscholastic high school basketball or AAU (club) basketball.
