MATH 201 MATH IN SOCIETY (3)
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture/16-18 hours by arrangement.
Prerequisite: Completion of MATH 120, or MATH 123 or MATH 190, or appropriate placement test score and other measures as appropriate, or equivalent.
Development of the necessary concepts and skills for reasoning logically and quantitatively and application of these concepts to practical, real-life situations. Topics include number systems, logic, geometry, probability and statistics, exponential modeling, and patterns..
