Course Information
Designed for advanced English language learners. Students plan, organize, compose, and revise expository essays based on the analysis of complex fiction and nonfiction texts from diverse American authors and works of social, historical, and cultural importance. Students synthesize academic sources to support arguments. Students utilize advanced English grammar, mechanics, and vocabulary.
Lecture hours/semester: 80-90
Homework hours/semester: 160-180
Prerequisites: ESL 924 or appropriate score on the College Placement Test or other multiple measures assessment.
