ENGL 110 COMPOSITION, LITERATURE AND CRITICAL THINKING (3)
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture.
Prerequisite: ENGL 100 or ENGL 105, or equivalent.
Course is designed to introduce students to the major imaginative genres of poetry, drama, and fiction from diverse cultural sources and literary critical perspectives.. Students will write analytical essays, employing methods of literary analysis and demonstrating critical thinking skills appropriate to a college-level writing class.
