MUS. 105 MUSIC THEORY I (3)
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture.
Prerequisite: MUS. 100, 301, 377 or 401, or equivalent.
Recommended: Concurrent enrollment in MUS. 111.
Extended practice in and application of written music theory skills. Learn melodic, rhythmic and chord structures needed for performance, writing, understanding and developing strong musicianship. Projects may include composition, arrangements, transcriptions and/or orchestrations.
