SURG 440 INTRODUCTION TO SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY (3)
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture/24-27 hours by arrangement.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Surgical Technology program.
An introduction to surgical technology and the entry level responsibilities and competencies of the surgical technologist. Also includes related nursing procedures in both the scrub and circulator roles.
