Course Information
Intended for future elementary school teachers. Topics include basic set theory, elementary number theory, numeration, number systems and operations, and problem solving techniques associated with the real number system. (Units do not count toward the Associate Degree).
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture.
Prerequisite: MATH 120 or MATH 123, or appropriate placement test score and other measures as appropriate, or equivalent.
Note: A TI graphing calculator is required for the course.
