In this course, students receive instruction in academic reading and writing, including writing processes, effective use of language, analytical thinking, and the foundations of academic research. This course includes embedded support. (Formerly ENGL 105) Students eligible for ENGL C1000 (formerly ENGL 100) who would prefer to receive extra support in reading and writing skills may enroll in English C1000E.
