LIBR 100 INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION RESEARCH

Units (Grade Option) 1; Class Hours: 16-18 lecture hours/semester; Recommended: Eligibility for READ 836 and ENGL 836; or ENGL 847 or ESL 400; Prerequisite(s): None.

Description: Introduction to information research for any major or profession. Students learn to how recognize the need for information, develop a search strategy, find and evaluate print and digital resources, synthesize and integrate the information they find, and use outside resources legally and ethically. Transfer: CSU, UC*.
