Description: Cultural geography studies the spatial interactions amongst nature, society, and culture. Course topics include the influence of environmental factors on human settlement and population change; human modifications of the environment through agriculture and industry; the role of technological and social change on the human experience of space and environment; and the role of factors including race, gender, and religion on how people organize and experience space.
