Description: Examines and analyzes the experiences of racial, ethnic, and cultural groups in U.S. history. Subjects include: Native Americans, European Americans, African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, multi-ethnic modern America, race and culture, race and identity, race and gender/class/sexual orientation, interaction between groups, and current issues. (Fulfills Associate degree Ethnic Studies requirement.) Transfer: CSU: C2 & DSI, UC. (IGETC: 3B, 4)
