HIST 246 HISTORY OF LATINOS IN THE U.S.

Description: Explores and analyzes the experiences of Latinos in U.S. history. Subjects covered include: the formation of Latino communities and identities in the U.S.; American foreign policy; the struggle for civil rights; Latino contributions to the social, economic, political, intellectual, and cultural development of the U.S.; immigration; and current issues. (Fulfills Associate degree Ethnic Studies requirement.) Transfer: CSU: C2 & DSI, UC. (IGETC: 3B, 4)
