MATH 818 BASIC MATHEMATICS FOR HEALTH SCIENCE

Units (Grade Option) 1; Class Hours: Minimum of 16 lecture hours/semester; Basic Skills Level: Open Curriculum; Prerequisite(s): None.

Description: Reviews basic mathematical skills necessary for the Health Science field. Topics include basic operations with real numbers, scientific notation, ratios, proportions, percentages, basic statistics, and Apothecary measurement. Units do not apply toward AA/AS degree.
