ENVS 115 ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

Description: Introduction to environmental issues from a scientific perspective, focusing on physical, chemical, and biological processes within the Earth system, the interaction between humans and these processes, and the process and role of science in finding sustainable solutions. Topics include contemporary environmental issues related to resource use, pollution, and human population growth. Fieldtrips may be required. Transfer: CSU: B1, B2, UC. (IGETC: 5A, 5B)
