Description: Introduction to the concept of Inclusive Design as applied to space planning. Emphasis is in creating spaces in the built environment that are responsive, adaptable, accessible, and secure to everyone through the Design Process. Students learn about products and various environments through practical projects for residential spaces while applying codes and sustainable principles of design. Space planning for commercial environments is explored. Transfer: CSU.
