Description: Students learn through lecture and laboratory experiences how the organ systems function in maintaining homeostasis, regulating change and growth processes in humans. Intended for students in allied health areas such as nursing and radiologic technology, and for those in related fields such as psychology. This course is an elective for pre-dental and pre-medical students. Transfer: CSU: B2, B3, UC. (IGETC: 5B*, 5C)

Web assisted courses combine face-to-face classroom instruction with computer-based online learning. Web assisted courses include an online learning component which comprises less than 51% of the total instructional component of the course (including To Be Arranged hours). Students meet on campus for a portion of the class and then work independently to complete the online portion of the course.
