FITN 320 WALKING AND JOGGING FOR FITNESS

Units (Grade Option) 1; Class Hours: Minimum of 48 lab hours/semester; Basic Skills Level: Open Curriculum; Prerequisite(s): None.

Description: Aims to improve cardiovascular fitness through a gradual progression utilizing speedwalking, jogging, dynamic warm-ups, proper cool down, and static stretching. The core activity is jogging and, weather permitting, class is conducted outdoors. May be repeated three times for credit. Transfer: CSU: E2, UC*.
