HMSV 110 INTRODUCTION TO COUNSELING AND INTERVIEWING

Description: An introduction to the basic skills and techniques of counseling and interviewing. Course covers listening, responding, building trust, questioning, assessment, reflecting strengths, referral, values, and ethics. Designed for professionals and paraprofessionals in Human Services positions and students preparing for a career in Human Services. Transfer: CSU.
