Description: An overview of key Human Services resources in San Mateo County. Covers the following resources: emergency, alcohol and drug, children's/youth services, disabilities, education, employment and training, financial assistance, food programs, health, housing, immigration, legal, seniors, recreation and mental health. Access, eligibility, funding, referral and assessment techniques are examined. Transfer: CSU.

Provee a los participantes con los conocimientos necesarios de los recursos disponibles en el Condado de San Mateo. Además de aprender docenas de programas, los estudiantes también aprenderán como escoger los recursos adecuados para autorizar a los clientes, y como descifrar lo que los clientes quieren y necesitan. El curso puede ser repetido una vez. RECOMENDACION: Aptitud para LECTURA 836, e INGLES 836; o ENGL 847 o ESL 400. Transferible a CSU.
