Hybrid Course:

Hybrid courses require regular access to a computer with reliable internet connection and basic computer literacy. Web access is available in the Cañada College Learning Center.

Hybrid courses combine face-to-face classroom instruction with computer-based online learning. Hybrid courses move a significant part of course learning online (51% to 99%) including To Be Arranged Hours and, as a result, reduce the amount of classroom seat time. Students meet on campus for a portion of the class without alternative distance education means of student participation and then work independently to complete the online portion of the course.
