NETX 440 INTRODUCTION TO MICROSOFT SERVER ADMINISTRATION (3)
Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture/16-18 lab hours by arrangement. Prerequisite: NETX 400, or equivalent training or experience.
An introductory course in Server Administration specific to Microsoft Server. Coverage includes the
functions and concepts of local and wide area networks, Microsoft server, user and group accounts and domain services. Hands-on experience provided in configuring and troubleshooting servers, workstations, and peripheral devices. Course is patterned after Microsoft Solutions guidelines. Transfer credit: CSU.
