BIOL 260 HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY

Units (Letter grade) 5; Class Hours: Minimum of 48 lecture/96 lab hours/semester; Recommended: Eligibility for ENGL 100, and MATH 120 or 122; Prerequisite(s): BIOL 250 and CHEM 192, 210 or 410.

Description: Students learn through lecture and laboratory experiences how the organ systems function in maintaining homeostasis, regulating change and growth processes in humans. Intended for students in allied health areas such as nursing and radiologic technology, and for those in related fields such as psychology. This course is an elective for pre-dental and pre-medical students. Transfer: CSU: B2, B3, UC. (IGETC: 5B*, 5C)
