PSYC 110 COURTSHIP, MARRIAGE AND FAMILY (3)

Minimum of 48 lecture hours/semester. Recommended: Eligibility for ENGL 100 or equivalent.
An introduction to the history and development of courtship, mate selection, marriage, personality adjustments in marriage, parenthood, family life, and divorce. Sociological, psychological, biological and anthropological perspectives are used to explain the complexities of the institution of marriage, communication patterns, and family traditions.
