BIOL 110 GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF BIOLOGY (4)

Letter grade. Hours/semester: 48-54 lecture/48-54 lab. Recommended: Eligibility for ENGL 838 or ENGL 848 or ESL 400.

Description: Study of the principles of the biological sciences. Includes origin and evolution of life, cellular nature of living things, genetics, ecology, life cycles, and natural history. One or more field trips may be required. Extra supplies may be required. A materials fee in the amount shown in the Schedule of Classes is payable upon registration.
