ELEC 290 Introduction to Communications Systems (3)

Minimum of 32 lecture and 48 lab hours plus 32 hours by arrangement per term. Prerequisite: ELEC 202 or equivalent with a grade of C or higher.

Description: Study of the reception and transmission of electromagnetic waves containing information. Includes AM and FM signal processing, television broadcasting, fiber optics, digital and satellite communications technologies, and PCS (cellular/pager) related technologies. (AA, CSU)
