ESL 400 Composition for Non-Native Speakers

Intensive practice in the writing of expository essays based on the analysis of complex pieces of writing, both fiction and non-fiction. Students are expected to conform to the conventions of standard English by demonstrating an ability to use proper punctuation, mechanics, sentence structure, and grammar and to employ a variety of sentence patterns.
