HIST 100 History of Western Civilization I This course examines the evolution of Western history from its earliest articulations in the ancient Near East through early Modern era. Particular emphasis is placed on the multicultural and global influences that have shaped, and continue to shape, the intellectual, artistic, economic, religious, cultural, and political institutions of the Western world.
