PHIL 300 Introduction to World Religions Survey of major contemporary Eastern and Western religions. Includes theories, practices, history, and leaders of each religion studied. Emphasizes the similarities underlying the differences between various religions. Units: 3 Degree Credit Grade Option (Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass)
Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None Recommended: Eligibility for ENGL 100 or ENGL 105. Completion of or concurrent enrollment in any READ 400 level course. AA/AS Degree Requirements: Area E5c Transfer Credit: CSU (CSU GE Area C2), UC (IGETC Area 3B)
