PSYC 121 Basic Statistical Concepts Introduction to basic descriptive techniques and statistical inferences used in the behavioral sciences. Basic statistics includes measures of central tendency, variability, probability, hypothesis testing, correlation, and experimental and quasi-experimental designs. Units: 3 Degree Credit Letter Grade Only
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Intermediate Algebra or equivalent, or placement by other measures as applicable. Corequisites: None Recommended: PSYC 100 or SOCI 100 and, Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 100 or ENGL 105.
