SOSC 313 ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG TREATMENT FOR INCARCERATED POPULATIONS (3)

Minimum of 48 lecture hours per term. Prerequisite: SOSC 301.

Description: A course to introduce the philosophy, approaches, goals, objectives, language, policies and procedures of the Criminal Justice System and to address the treatment needs of incarcerated clients being referred into the Alcohol and Other Drug and/or the Mental Health Recover Systems. (AA, CSU)
