SOSC 316 Field Studies and Seminar II

Supervised practicum/internship. Part of a two-semester sequence placing students in substance use disorder agencies/organizations. Participants must already be knowledgeable about substance use disorders and mental health disorders. Course focuses on county, state and federal regulations; clinical relations; professional addiction counseling evidence based practices; co-occurring disorder clinical syndromes and differential diagnosis; supervisor/counselor/client evaluation outcomes.
