Syllabus
Deliver effectively at least one advanced-level oral presentation of at least seven minutes based on library research (applying various public speaking skills and correct pronunciation of elements that affect meaning). Interpret (summarize, analyze, infer, evaluate, and connect to) advanced-level course texts and lectures and clearly and appropriately communicate insights during class discussions and group work, presentations, and in writing (via note-taking, summary, and reflection). Apply advanced academic resources (such as Canvas, tutoring, library), student support services (e.g. Canvas, My.smccd, counseling) and study skills (e.g. time management, goal setting, reflection) to support ESL coursework.
