Syllabus
-Compose developed organized college-level essays in response to class readings and synthesizing multiple outside sources. -Critically evaluate and edit own writing including for appropriate content, organization, grammar, mechanics, and word choice. -Analyze important cultural elements within a variety of texts. -Apply advanced academic resources (such as Canvas, tutoring, library), student support services (e.g. Canvas, My.smccd, counseling) and study skills (e.g. time management, goal setting, reflection) to support ESL coursework.
